I AM DONE :-) WITH ONE PROJECT!!

We had our last class today with Nancy (www.nancyalison.com) making our beautiful amulet bags. they were so much fun, thank you, Nancy!!! you are a terrific teacher!! Anyone interested in taking a class for the bags/necklaces there is another class August 12. You WILL be hooked!! Take a look at Nancy's website to see all the different purses she has made and the kits she has. I do have some in stock also.
After working on size 0000 needle, I went back to knitting my socks on size 1 Addi's and tho't they felt huge.
thanks again, Nancy for a really fun project

KNITTING ON SIZE #0000 NEEDLES!! Not kidding!

I never thought I would EVER knit -let alone on a size #0000! Nancy, www.nancyalison.com taught us how to make the amulet bags this morning in class. They were/are a lot of fun but WOW it is hard to see the stitches and the beads. We use size 8 seed beads and 10/2 mercerized cotton thread. Nancy made the 5 bags shown on the right as sample for us to follow -it would take me the whole year to get that many done! Homework for the class this week is to get the entire bag done and when we get back to class next week we will work on stringing the beads for the necklace and the fringe. REALLY have to keep knitting!!! thanks, Nancy for a fun project!
